No Pain, No Gain
Nothing really comes for free,
Sacrifices are meant to be,
The sooner we understand this,
The better it is.
The droplets of rain,
Sometimes wipe away our pain,
The breeze of the wind,
Sometimes takes away the sadness from our mind,
The hands of the clock,
Sometimes make us happy and sometimes give us shock.
Interestingly, they never stop,
They work non-stop.
Sometimes, leaving is the best thing to do,
If that's what makes you stay true,
To yourself, to your soul,
If that's what helps you achieve your goal.
You don't always need to win to be called a winner,
Sometimes, just praise yourself for being a beginner,
It's better to lose at times,
You need to learn too sometimes,
To get up again,
A little sacrifice and a little pain.
Sometimes, you just have to move on,
For the time lost is the time gone.
