Angels
Angels:

Stand
In my shoes
And walk my road
Then say as you wish
Many wrong turns
And stupid mistakes
Trusting
When I should have held back
Enemies made
They never understood
Nor looked to my heart
It's deeper than that
The book is more than the cover
Troubles, they made me stronger
Stabbed through the heart
More times than I wished
Yet still, I dance
And hold to the beat
Hiding the pain, maybe too well
Rose-tinted glasses and a rhino skin
A life cultivated on broken glass
Responsibilities accepted
It’s all down to me
At the pearly gates
I’ll pay the piper
Just as Sinatra sang
I did it my way
Family a fallacy
I have reluctantly learnt
Blood and Judgement
The perfect bedfellows
My circle kept small
And succinct
Comprising of wolves
With zero sheep
A Virgo dyslexic
Never easy to fathom
But fuck I am deep
If you care to explore
Full of contrary
Contradictions
This I'll confess
Dogmatic and emphatic
Yet I’ll give you your voice
I’m carrying a benevolent soul
And have learned to love
With a Brocken heart
And a fractured mind
I love what I love
With no holding back
Never mundane
Hold on to your hat
I’ve lived an uncustomary life
Some say bizarre
With angels guiding my hand
And holding their heads
It hasn’t been easy
But I’d not change
A thing
