Last poem?
"So what if this was the last poem I wrote.
This last battle I fought.
The last dream I bought.
Would you miss the poems a lot.
And no, I am not planning to die.
But just drop the pen before I write my reasons why.
And you wouldn't hear after all these poems, how it all ends.
But you would know the poems live on, in a heart, somewhere where the sun sets and the earth ends.
What if this was the one last poem before I go.
The end of the show; the goodbye bow.
The last you'll hear.
After poems and poems of love, wisdom, pain and fear.
Reading this, would you shed a tear.
Knowing it all ends here.
The pages go blank and clear.
Knowing that you might be finding you way to read the last rhyme.
One last touch, one last time.
And now, I have no right to tell you are going to be okay.
And you have no right to tell me to stay.
And if we meet some day, I know you'll want to know.
And I really hope you ask, those poems,Prince, were there more?."
