What are the things that a loving God would do? Write a poem concerning this question.

I remember that one night,
knees planted into the carpet,
hands clasped together,
facelifted into the heavens,
with my eyelids gently closed

Tears streamed down my cheeks,
I felt intense anguish,

"God, I need you. I cannot live like this anymore, I am tired. I am tired of myself. Forgive me for my sins. Help me, I give You my life.."

A few seconds of silence

Felt like an embrace had come around me,
I couldn't see Him but He was there,
inside the room with me

Pain was replaced with peace,
Low self-esteem was replaced with God-confidence,
Fear replaced with boldness

Walked on ground yet felt like I was floating

For the first time I felt free from negative intrusive thoughts
Sin had lost its grip on me

Feeling dirty...gone
Feeling useless...gone
Feeling like the world would be a better place without me was crushed... by Him

It didn't matter how I looked anymore,
if God had seen that it was good,
who was I to hate His creation,

I felt like I was fresh out of the womb,
the world was new,
I saw it differently

I was born again

I was never the same
Problems where there but saw life differently

I was made new
