Sitting By The T.V
Families sit around to watch,
With buckets of popcorn and coke.
Fathers and boys want a rematch!
Kids in families laugh at the jokes.
Action and thriller,
Is much loved by the 10 and 11 year old.
They are act like the characters,
That mothers snatch the remote.
The teen girls tear up,
whenever an emotional scene blares.
They rewind the scene many a time as a result,
And start building castles in the air.
The teen boys are so into superheroes,
villians and more.
Reality, they are actually scarecrows.
And spend hours watching games like football.
The thirties and forties love watching serials,
It's so annoying when they don't leave the sofa.
They watch the entire day as if we're invisible
Calls us only if they need to drink a cola.
Yet I feel watching T.V gives us family time,
The gospel truth is the merrier becomes when there's more.
It's not like how on theatres, we spend dimes,
The happiness is gained free by staying indoors.
