IN SEARCH OF A KINGDOM
It's a burden from the upper room,
introducing a journey
it's a quest in search of a kingdom to come;
you might be spared of all the details
it's so your life will be preserved

but you will go with a word from the mouth of the LORD,
to Abraham it wasn't something odd
he left the known,in search of the unknown
leaving behind every bit of comfort he had
to a destination unknown
just holding on to a promise sworn.

It's a quest in search of a kingdom
a burden from the upper room
a process you have to go through;
withdrawal from self existential mode
even Moses spent 40 years in the wilderness.
God the alpha and Omega,
what goes on in the middle is the process unknown to you.

HE can decide to send you alone,
you may not be accorded the privilege of crowd,
striped from all you are used to
leaving the seen for the unseen too
in the end , your own family might not be compatible with you,
do not-forcefully hold on to things,
it is a journey in search of a kingdom.

Abraham pioneered this journey,
he went in search of a city that has foundation and whose builder is God.
A journey of faith it is,
faith,our only currency.

it's a journey to follow,
follow strictly
for if the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
the journey,
a quest in search of a kingdom is-our marching order,
for no one who laid his hand on the plough and looks back is fit for this kingdom.
The big question is
what did you hear God say at the beginning?
what is your marching order?
