Did you see that lightning, heard the thunder roar,
It was so bright and loud, left me wanting more.
I wonder what it meant, could it be a sign,
That the heavens are cheering, seeing love intertwine?

Or maybe it's a warning, a sign from above,
That I should fix myself first, before I give my love.
I don't wanna hurt her, make her feel small,
So I'll take that lightning as a wake-up call.
