I've been writing for so long
Hundreds of poems in my song
But lately, I've been feeling tired
My creativity has expired
I need a break from all this rhyme
To give myself some much-needed time
To rest and recharge my soul
Before I lose all control
So I'll take a step back
And cut myself some slack
I'll close my eyes and let it be
And maybe then I'll finally see
That sometimes we need to pause
To find our true cause
So I'll bid the world goodnight
And dream until the morning light.
