Unforgotten Lover
#WritcoPoemPrompt17
Let me step into the warmth of your arms,
Let me bask in the sunshine of your smile,
Let me hold you a moment longer, mother mine,
Let me feel your gentle caress, filling me with original love in excess,
Let me relish the sound of your heartbeat, a heart that beats only for me,
Let me tighten little hands on plank chests, and be thrilled with the feeling of it all,
Let me speak to you comic words of which was my own deliberate action,
Let me hear the sound of your sweet laughter, for it brings me joy,
Let me hear it reverberate down to your throat and I shall hush to listen to it get swallowed by your stomach,
Let me touch you and smother your clothes; slowly, you shall get mine out too
Let me feel your hungry mouth ravage my needy tongue,
Let me express my love with the same vigour,
Let me please you as which you please me,
Let me whisper to you words ridden of all innocence,
Let me place your hands on my erect peak- just to show how much I need you,
Let me forget about the future- for just once,
Let me be one with you as you are with me,
Let me show you ecstacy, then you will bring me from my high,
Let me get consumed by your loving
'Til
My feet swirls in a pool of air and my heartbeat is at its peak,
Then,
I shall be in painful peace with the touch, sight, smell and feel of you with me,
What a plea! my heart begs for you forever,
But I awaken at the set of dawn,
I realise you have received a calling from the inevitable-
Perhaps the Lord like I hear the rumours speak so great a reference,
The inevitable tear slips off my flushed cheeks
I had an inkling or two of your departure,
but the pain is too much to bear
So I conceal myself whilst my mind roam with the thoughts of the previous passion we shared together
I knew it had to be done, and so I picked up the phone.
"He's gone."

And so I sit in a land where the grass is green,
No known bodies for miles,
The bride chirp high in the sky,
A sky that shines blue,
A sky that gives the water privilege to share it's hue.
And so I lay in the warm smooth white soil,
Eyes closed,
As I recall your loving.
