The Night
The day is done, the night has come. The moon has replaced the setting sun. What is it about the night that brings such peace, and such delight? What is it about the night, though it is dark with little light? Is it the stars that twinkle in heaven's sky, or is it because it is blessed by a loving GOD who sits on high? Is it the serenity that brings us such peace, or is it the blissfulness that brings us such sweet serenity? It is a time to sleep, it is a time to rest, it is a time of such perfect solemnness. It is a time to say goodnight until the dawn's shining light. It is a time to close your eyes, a time to rest, dreaming of things that live on, and never dies. It is a time to revitalize, a time to re-energize for a brand new day, in which we must do it all again.
