Little ladybug
Found in your shower
A windowsill
A cracked wall
Flapping it's wings
Crawling about-
Not wanting to fall

As spring continues
More and more appear
Black dots on shiny red
Black and white heads
A body with many limbs
Wings transparent
Catching onto the slight drift
Wanting to truly live

So after opening the window,
Opening the door
They escape outside
Traveling about
Ready to explore-
Flying over to...
Flowers!
Bushes!
And Grass!
Knowing they are free at last
