Wishes
The clouds gathered to watch,
The sun peeked to see,
The stars shone to witness,
A wish.
The winds stopped to listen,
The trees dormant,eager anticipating,
The rivers stilled anxiously,
For a wish.
A wish masked with questions,
Underlined with our
Fears,
Impossibilities,
Regrets,
Concern,
Happiness,
And pain.
A wish which promises hope,
But whispers our wishes to the rivers to adorn themselves with it,
To the trees to shake them off,
To the winds to travel along with,
And up to the clouds, which parts way,
To the sun, to give it's sense of,
Urgency,
Hope,
Pain,
Happiness,
Concern.
And the stars shine on them to unravel
Them to the one believed,
The wished.
I wish and became the wisher who wished for the wished.
Glassy drops looked up,
They move swift like the wind with the sense of urgency,
Searching for the whispers of hope, instead of the quench of a man's reliever.
It was there, regret wished for time to go back,
Pain wished to die,
Happiness wished for perpetual,
Fear wished to be calm,
But they're wishes.
And I stood to understand,
Some wishes are meant for the stars.
