I'll never know
What my future holds, I’ll never know.
The story to my life’s book untold, only time can show.
Will I succeed? Will I fail? I’ll never know, Life is my greatest battle, will I prevail, will I grow?
What is fate? What is destiny? I’ll never know.
What makes me great, revealing the best of me, only my spirit can show.
What makes us so different from one another? I’ll never know.
So much hatred for one’s skin color, we are all children of the Most High, and hatred comes from below.
What happens when this life is over? It’s only one of two places to go.
Whether drunk in love or hate is sober, both move like the river that flows.
Life moves so fast, but to make it last, sometimes you have to take it slow, that I know.
