lovers lies
You accuse me of doubts, a twisted charade,
Yet it's your own deception that's on display.
With practiced words, you deflect and deflect,
A master of lies, with no regret.

I work with purpose, while you deceive,
A tangled web of stories you weave.
Others are drawn, while you play your part,
But your intentions are a dagger to my heart.

You claim innocence, with a practiced guise,
While behind my back, your deception lies.
You play the victim, the wronged one here,
But your deceit is now crystal clear.

I'm not blind to your cunning game,
Your twisted tales, your hidden aim.
No longer blinded by love's embrace,
I see through the lies that stain your face.

So go on with your charade, play your role,
But know that your deceit has taken its toll.
I see the truth now, there's nowhere to hide,
Deception revealed, and love cast aside.
