An extravagant flourish,
a weaving of words,
heard-
it’s all so very absurd.

Write it down,
let it rip,
feelings flow
from the tip
of my pen
now and then
once or twice
thoughts connect.

With some Time
to reflect,
life just seems
circumspect
if you can’t
take a chance
to change your own
circumstance.

But here we are
where we are
‘cause we can’t be
where we aren’t.
Sounds like logic
that’s round
but there’s something
profound
living deep
in this thought,
we’ll never be
what we’re not.
