A womans love destroyed, covered in blankets of lies
yet she still covers her tears inside
heart drenched in what was called her hardest goodbye
she still can't seem to figure out why

the feeling was so familiar and the knife that penetrated her heart had Almost killed her
grieving in rage fueled her anger everything around her was a tool to inflict danger

the cries turned into screams due to the agony of deciet, she let love send her the final defeat, her chest became weak and could bearly stand on her own two feet

Holding on to a lovers love but it was all in vain

The sacrifice for love was just a pawn in someone's game
she'll never know her name, but will forever hold the pain
chasing a love that was hidden in shame, yet she still holds on praying for change

As the emptiness settles inside her heart, she's nearly holding on trying not to fall apart
she's dying inside, fighting with demons telling her it's ok to die tonight

A lovers past kept her heart intacted
