A Moment Tranquility
#TheUnrequitedLove

Maybe in the summer when the snow falls as my heart did for you, Or in the rain when the trees are as dry as my eyes like when we met last time,
Or when the clock needle hiccups backward as my heartbeats did when your lips met mine,
Or when the melody in my ears are no longer your voice but a disturbing noise from a forgotten time.
Or as cold as the touch of flame in the sober nights by the shore we used to hang out high on each other,
Or when our memories turn as bland as an ocean filled with stars like we thought our feelings for each other would,
Or amid a calm sea where the storm runs wild as my nerves did when I saw you,
Or when my poetries begin to cease under my whispers instead of pouring out like my emotions on our first fight,
And when the moonlight turns golden as our moments did before my eyes,
Only then and just then, the universe might allow us to have a moment of tranquility,
Till then, bear it all and watch my undoing,
Keep your eyes open, I might just be standing
keep your eyes open, I might just be standing there, underneath the cherry tree,
Waiting for you.
