I Wish I Wasn't Born
I wish I was never born,
To never feel this pain,
The pain inflicted by those I once held dear,
The suffering from things I never wanted to bear.
I wish I was invisible,
Hidden from the world's cruel sight,
Free from heartache and tears,
In a world without pain and strife.
I close my eyes and dream of a place,
Where love and kindness always embrace,
A world where I belong,
Where I'm not just a passing face.
But when I open my eyes, reality hits hard,
And I'm left with this aching heart,
Wishing for a life that's not mine,
Wishing I could rewind time.
I know I can't change the past,
But I can hope for a better future,
A future where I find my place,
Where I'm loved and accepted, without a trace of doubt.
So, I'll keep holding on,
With a glimmer of hope in my heart,
Praying for a new beginning,
A chance to start over, and make a brand new start.
