Obsession...
Obsession is a funny thing,
It makes you do the strangest thing,
Like buying shoes you'll never wear,
Or rearranging your room with care.
It's always on your mind all day,
And never goes away, they say,
It makes you do the silly dance,
And take one more chance, one more chance.
You might be obsessed with your pets,
And keep them in fancy jets,
Or collect all sorts of knick-knacks,
And have stacks and stacks of them in your packs.
But the funniest thing of all,
Is when you stand up tall and call,
"I'm not obsessed, no, not me!"
And then proceed to do it all again, you'll see.
So embrace your obsession with a smile,
And let your quirks run wild for a while,
Because life's too short to be sane,
And obsession keeps us all entertained!
