you brought me
when it was raining,
i was grateful for every smile
and moments we've shared together

i was happy that we met,
though maybe, you and i
were not His meant

i was glad for every single thing you did,
for cheering me up, for your clap,
for telling me how beautiful i am,
for putting a smile on my face
—i appreciate them all

but the most painful thing you did was
when you said a farewell to me
perhaps, you're just a part of my chapter
but not included in my whole story
still, i was glad that in my past page
there was you and me
