The year 2023 is coming to an end,
Hopeful this thread will come to a close as well,
No matter how much we pretend,
Variants are here to stay like a spell.
starting the year off like hell
lost in depression wanting it to end
got lost in the writing
for hours on end
the rhyming, the flow
the way we’d share our thoughts
our feelings
connected through time
and words and what nots.
To this new chapter
I’d hope to know better
learn and grow
read your words
learn more of you
2024 is ready to offer more
