My grandmother's been gone for so many years
after all of this time, I still shed a tear
she passed away when I was barely a teen
the struggles I went through behind the scenes.
My grandmother was loving and kind and sweet
I missed her massages to my feet
she passed away when I was young and weak
but I summed up the courage to finally speak.
