Through ages eyes
*Smash* I hear as I see the shattered glass
Broken into a million micro pieces
As quick as lighning as quick as a flash
Time never waits for anyone it never seizes
I lean in closer to exam my untimely demise
My time is up only shattered pieces of my hourglass remain
Worn out by my unsightly disguise
Precious time wasted I had so much knowledge still to gain.
So many things my flesh craves to try
So many things my spirit still needs to feel
Others prepared to go yet I sit here and cry
if only time could be taken I'd gladly take a steal
Unfortunately it can't and my bodies growing weaker
I sit in my sinked in arm chair replaying old memories
The future from the view of older eyes is looking a lot more bleaker
A young mind trapped in a body as old as centuries
is quite the tragedy indeed
Remembering all the wasted time on petty arguments, and laziness in its fullest form
Knowing so many things but keeping them to myself indulged in greed
If only I had make an effort into those that mattered most
I would have had a hand to hold for support
And not be haunted by times ghost
Atlas,I sit alone death my only resort
if I could go back id do so many things differently
Learn everything there is to learn
have some people to love passionately
Times grace I wouldn't have earned
