They say if you love someone let them go and if you're meant to be, they'll come back and then you'll know... the universe will work it out, or the universe will not..... but how do you weather a heart so hurt, forced to let a love felt so deep free to roam with another soul..... Do you just hardened your heart? go seperate ways? deattach from each other?putting all the time spent way in the back of your mind, so memories don't replay or rewind. Am I selfish for stepping back, for wanting to let him go, for thinking he deserves a girl who loves him more than the world....I only want what's best for him,and that girl is not me, yet i still I pray to God one day we'll be....I guess it's false hope because I turn cold by nature, so it's best his love be secured by someone whose made him safe through his storms and always reassured... Maybe I'll break my own heart just for him to be happy, even if means being happy with familiarity, it wouldn't be fair to him anyways, it wouldn't be fair to me,building this temporary love affair based on infatuation or lust.
