I lay upon the dark wet sand.
Waves wash through my tangled hair.
The moon shines in the distance.
I noticed another person was there.

All I can do is lay here so still.
They chose to lay beside me.
We're holding each other intimately tight.
The tide keeps on coming in.

Water drips down our faces.
I can't help but stare into their eyes.
