If only wishes can come true,
I have one or two or maybe a few,
And they're all about you,

I lay in an empty bed,
longing.
Hoping for hours on end ,
for the touch of someone.

My body aches for the warm embrace.
The slightest touches turn into a blaze,
within me.
My stomach jumps,
does circles around and around.

My aches grow more and more desperate,
each passing day.
The loneliness stays for days and days .

I wish I could burie myself with you,
in warmth and security .
Our hands travelling far and wide,
but always finding their home,
in each other.

My back pressed against your chest,
listen to the song your heart plays ,
just for me.
Your breath runs warm down my neck,
sends shivers through me.
You hold me,
like there is no tomorrow.
I am safe secure.

Arms hold me close.
Tight and secure.
They move in rhythm with my chest,
every breath,
moving them ever so gently .

But now I'm cold,
my hands are lost,
there is no musical rhythm.
I am no longer safe.

And all I wish is for you to be with me.
