Distant Love
I can close my eyes and see your face as the wind in the background shifts, and your long beautiful hair moves according to the direction of the breeze. Your warmth I feel, your touch is healing to my body, mind and soul. Although you are distant away, I long for the day I can see you face to face.
We chat often, text messaging and all. Emojis expressions with deep meaning to how we feel for one another. Whenever we chat, I picture you next to me. We laugh, cuddle and sleep while we watch some T.V. This may be outdated because phones, tablets and YouTube has replaced television, but once in a while I enjoy the old fashion way of watching a film while laying in bed. Netflix and chill is the montage often used, but with you anything you desire I will do. The film playing express deep feelings and it’s fun and fulfilling. A rom-com one that we can share and relate with. I’m holding you close, we share a bite of some sauce and chips and I’m patiently waiting for that kiss.

I need you close to me. I can’t touch you or kiss your lips with pohographs nor make love to you. I can’t feel your warmth because speaking to you also isn’t the same as you being here with me. It drives me crazy because you aren’t near me, but all I can do is be patient love of mine. The day will come near. So I close my eyes because is the closest thing to feeling you and confirms to me how much I truly love you.
