The day came
After a long vacation
I got ready with my favourite teddy
Packed my clothes
Packed my books
Packed my stuffs for an year
My mom was there
With eye full of tear
My papa came with his TVS XL
I left my home to excel

The school came
I entered with head full of fear
People around me looked at me with care
I got my hostel
I got my own cupboard, I lacked it in my home
I got my own plate, I never had separate one before

The night came
I missed my mom's feed
I missed my brother's hand on my plate

The bed time came
I missed my cuddle with my little sister
I lost my mom's hand on me
I realised my papa's absence near me
I sensed I was in the room with 40 others like me

People were washing their clothes at 3 am
Nerds were reading with snacks and water
Some of them oiling their head at that time
Just imagine
Night was not night at all
I couldn't sleep at all

I started cry
They started to laugh at me
Few hours later a long whistle came
