"Hey, Mister! Don't eat your neighbour!" said some who
isn't required mentioning here.

Yep , you guessed it right. The Aztecs were cannibals.

Oops! You don't know them!
Sorry, my stupid, brainless
and utterly unmindful mistake.

So, The Aztec Civilization was co-existing with
the Mayans. They were situated in Central America
while the Mayans lived in the southern part.

For rest info, read the extremely embarassing
poem below with very dumb humour , inscribed
on the walls by @parvjain and @laini8580 's
Aztec Ancestors, who are probably lying
somewhere under the debris.

Az-attack:-

The Aztecs invaded,
The central america,
And the Olmecs,
Who lived before them, faded.

Hundreds of heads,
Were sacrificed to the gods,
So that they save them,
From all difficulties and odds,

They were skilled warriors,
Ready to die and notorious,
Proud and brave,
And the sun dawns behind their grave;

Rest in peace mighty fighters,
Been through many battles with few survivors,
Wrote, artistic hieroglyph system,
About that times human condition;

Conveyed history,
Some still remained a mystery,
And they had long lived in fear,
Though all was done in common as before;

They had left their homes in the north because their situation was so bad,
Oh what a tedious time they had,
Fallen warrior survivors cry,
For they had seen many of their children die.

Now, you would be thinking,
Where humour is?
The Fox and the sheep,
Had a gleeful kiss.
