The world didn't end
When I didn't follow the path you went
The world didn't end, when I was drowning in sorrow
Even when I was not expecting a new tomorrow
Infact the world was happily moving forward
But there I was frozen in time, standing like a coward
There was the moment where I knew I was going to die
A moment I knew would be my final Goodbye
It felt like my world was going to end
So I stood there reminiscing about the life I had spend
But the world didn't end
As if the universe was seeing that before I break how much I could bend
It felt like an arrow had been shot at me
Everything moved in a slow motion like a tragedy
I waited for that arrow to pierce a hole in my heart
I closed my eyes hoping to fall back into the dark
But instead I opened my eyes to the light
I realised that the morning was here and long gone was the dark night
And for first time in a while I didn't mourn the parts of life I couldn't mend
Because I realised that no matter what atleast the world didn't end.
