Her Corridor
She walked down the corridor with doors on each side, each step she took echoed through the halls because she was the only one. The corridor never seemed to end. But every once in a while a door would open and someone would say hello. It was always only for a short while and then she would keep walking. Down the silent corridor with doors on both sides. One door had opened, this time she walked inside. The room was welcoming and perfect, she decided to stay, the person on the inside, smiling all the way. The longer she stay the more that smile changed, the longer she stayed the more that room, so welcoming at first, became something like a cage. The door would creak open but still she stayed. Hoping that the room would go back to the same. When the smile became a snarl and sweet words turned to painful, the door opened one more time. And she ran.
