Lost in a city

I was lost in a city,
It was filled with big buildings and looked pretty.
I wanted to explore,
As i started to adore,
the city; so i started my walk,
And listened the people's talk.
They talked in a different language,
so i didn't understand; Saw a man who was selling cabbage.
I talked with him in English,
But suddenly, I heard fire brigade,
As they had come to extinguish.
I spent a day in the unknown City,
Yet it was pretty.
I felt very light,
There, I spent a peaceful night.
