I am not the me of yesterday
i look to the usually starless sky
and i see stars there tonight
i had condemned the sky to darkness
but tonight it has given me light
I am an ever changing being
morphing from phase to phase
with my sights set like a hawk
and my mind having boundless fluidity
i have accepted the instability of my ways
I am a more knowledgeable soul
having held the hand of others of great difference
with their oddities becoming a norm
their communications like an art form
i chose to embrace and never to run
i have accepted that fingers are not equal
