Away from my World
Away from my world, I'll take flight
With wings of freedom, shining bright
My feet will leave the ground behind
And in the clouds, my heart will find
A peaceful refuge, far from here
Where worries fade, and doubts disappear
I'll soar above the mountains tall
And see the earth, so small and small
In this new world, I'll have no fears
No pain, no sadness, no falling tears
I'll dance with the stars, in the silver sky
And spread my wings, as I glide by
I'll leave behind my earthly woes
And bask in the sun's warm, gentle glow
In this new realm, I am free
To be whoever I want to be
No rules, no boundaries, just endless space
With every breath, I'll embrace this place
A world of dreams, a world of light
Where everything is possible, nothing's out of sight
But as the wind begins to change
I know it's time, to turn the page
For though this world, is pure and true
My heart still longs, for what I knew
So I'll spread my wings, and take to the skies
With memories of this world, in my mind's eyes
And though I'll return, to my world of gray
I'll know that here, I can always fly away.
