It was not by bullets ,
nor by swearing words
or by 'Bomb Attacks' either
that Gandhi's died !
It was at the thought of
Partition of our Nation
that our world
fell apart !
It is at the mere
thought of Partition
that our earth still
stands still !
It requires a lot ,
more than a lion's heart
and a man's courage
to kill a thought !
It was against the
Principles of Injustice
that the battle for
freedom was fought !
Long before granting
the freedom ;
the seedlings of hatred were
sown and, the hammer struck
when the iron was hot !
The Partition brought our
earth to a stand still and
all our achievements
were brought to a knot !
It required a lot
more than a God's will
and a savage's skill
to make the kill !
Yes! it required a lot
more than a lion's heart
and a man's courage to
stop the clot and
contain the rot !!
