Into my heart an air that kills. By A. E. Housman
■ Disclaimer this is not my poem, it was written by Alfred Edward Housman, from his book a Shropshire lad. I just wanted to share my favourite poet with you people. ■

Into my heart an air that kills
From yon far country blows
What are those blue rememberd hills
what spires, what farms are those.

That is the land of lost content
I see it shining plain
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.
