My sins are heavy, like a weight upon my soul,
A burden that I carry, an endless toll,
The choices made and wrongs I've done,
Are like stains I cannot shun.
I've hurt those I love, with careless words indeed,
Ignored the cries of those in need,
Indulged in pleasures that led me astray,
And turned a blind eye to those in dismay.

Selfishness and jealousy, growing like thorny chains,
