Unrepairable
I used to never be this way,
A happy boy with dreams to play,
But now I am a broken man,
Lost in a empty wasteland.
I used to look forward to the future,
Hopeful for what it might nurture,
But now I only wait for death,
Longing for my final breath.
I used to think I had it all,
But life has come and made me fall,
Convinced that I have lost everything,
A shattered soul with no mending.
From the inside out I am destroyed,
A broken shell that can't be deployed,
No longer repairable, I fear,
Forever lost in a sea of tears.
