Eclectic sentiments
The atmosphere was heavy
Men sang; women danced
Children chant
While the elders sat enjoying the scene

A file of ladies, beautiful, energetic, and veiled
Matched their way towards me
One of the dozen was my bride
Waiting to be chosen

They were all fat, they were all slim
They looked tall, they looked short
Confusion was my melody
As I grabbed the fifth in line

Woe to me who has chosen
The wrong braid
For twenty thousand must be laid
Or I'll take the wrong bride home.
