Some people don't take the time to learn more about one another. Let alone weighing the pros and cons of an unknown future with someone.
The flames that were ignited in the beginning have you feeling as though they would burn forever.
Thus allowing the heart to be foolish.
  When time has changed one, or perhaps both,
rest assured that loneliness dwells in the heart. Straying is inevitable, and deceit is added to the norm. When one heart refuses to open up, it becomes acceptable for the heart that cannot reach the other.
  However, refusing to surrender, a spark of victory begins to surface, and you believe you have one more card to play.
  Still keeping to the hear nothing, see nothing, speak nothing rules, again selfishness begins squatting within.
You decide to bring in another life into the unstable relationship you so willingly and foolishly stepped into.

   Now there is no doubt that this new love you hold is real.
Though still in your prison disguised as a relationship, you are not alone.
  Loneliness has been filled with something that is good and pure.
No matter how 
   deafening the
      silence is.
No matter how
   much your eyes
     refuse to see.
No matter what
   advice your ears
     refuse to hear.
What matters to
you is that you
are no longer
alone, and lonely.
  For a time all will be good for you both,
  but this will not last.
 Timing is everything, and failure to express that the desire for a relationship was not mutual, the silence will be the only sound you receive.
  You won't see that the most important thing in your life now isn't the relationship you so desperately wanted.
  A resolve can be reached if the silence is broken. If the eyes finally open, and the voice finds its way. Then perhaps a dramatic ending can be avoided.
You'll feel as if a weight has been lifted.
  It would seem that this is a good thing.
What you don't realize is that you
have set in motion
  a ripple effect on
the waters that are
  soon to become 
    strong currents.
  The pure love you
selfishly decided to
  bring into your
   lonely self made
          prison
    will be caught
   in the center of
    the whirlpool
     of heartache
  because you chose
   not to walk away.
