I may sound different to you all
But I took a huge fall
I was excelling in sports
Doing great at my talent
I would play for free thats how much it's a part of me
I was enjoying my life assuming a 13 year old knows what that entails
I was happy and loved the game
Taking it away from me would push me to the insane
One day I was happy and enjoyed life
The same day I was fighting for that same life
I remember crashing into the trees
I remember watching my best friends dad die in front of me
I remember my best friend unconscious right in front of me
I literally was alone
I was awake in the back of a mangled car
I had extensive injuries but still alive barely I found out later
Amazingly my older brother showed up
He said how are you doing
I said alive but im having trouble breathing
Turns out my leg was broken, wrist too
My lungs were punctured too
I said to my brother and the medics that I can't breathe. please help
At that point I passed out for a bit
but I gave them enough info to help save me
The last thing I remember was them shoving a tube down my throat
I didn't wake up for a week
As I was comatose
So when I finally awoke I didn't know what or where I was
I did realize that I was possibly about to die.
