Who Was At Fault?
I'm a mere eleven year old,
Whose short life had been sold.
What was my fault?
Their greed, their greed...
Which caused my future to hault.
Last Sunday,I went to buy food,
An acquaintance waved!
We went all happy and good.
Keeping tied,they strangled me,
I just wanted to be set free.
Extracted kidneys, scooped my eyes,
That's when I went beyond all ties.
They put me in a sanitary tank,
Body tickling with worms .
Three days passed,I smelled gross;
Then the police did come across.
My corpse from neighbour's house
Proved I was a trapped mouse.
Nothing could ever suffice my pain,
I bet, animals are more sane.
Ma said, rapacity is sin and it kills,
But here I lay dead against my wills.
The negligence of officer in charge
Had kept the culprits still at large.
(Last Sunday 9.06.24 in Barasat,West Bengal,an 11 year old boy went missing. Three days later he was found dead from his neighbour's house.His kidneys and eyes were brutally extracted and trafficked.The killers are still roaming outside so it's a request to keep your children/siblings/neighbours safe.
