Christmas is near, bells are ringing,
But I'm still here, sad and lonely,
Echoes of cheer, my heart keeps longing,
For warmth and love to fill me wholly.

The twinkling lights and festive cheer,
Remind me of the love I miss,
Though laughter's near, it's hard to hear,
Amidst the ache, my soul's abyss.

Yet hope remains within my core,
That this cold season will soon depart,
Love will restore what's lost and more,
And mend the pieces of my broken heart.

So, Christmas is near, bells are ringing,
Though I'm still here, sad and lonely,
I'll keep believing, my spirit clinging,
For joy to find me, tender and holy.
