He is so insecure because he is afraid that they will take her away from him,he has to be afraid and scared because she helped him fight when he was giving up,she made him laugh so hard,she stayed while others left, she held his hand when he was feeling lonely, she stayed up all night just to listen to him and she hugged him while he cried.
He gets so mad and jealous when he sees her laugh at other people's jokes,he tells her that honey "i will swim every ocean just to be with you because you're the reason why am still hanging on!"
He feels so bad when he can't give her what she deserves because he says "you're worth everything".
He instead takes her out to see the stars at night and then asks her "can you count them?" and she replies "no i can't " and he says "that's how much i love you darling!"
Little does he know that she loves him so much and she won't ever leave him because he is her strength! and without him she's incomplete.
But still he is insecure well that's still love right?.
