She's Tired In Her Old Life

#WritcoPoemPrompt12

Let her sleep deep,
Let us not weep,
For she is at her journey’s end,
Left with no memories to mend.
Don't feel bad for she is very tired in this old life,
She's done so many jobs; a mother, nurse, and wife,
Her lifes been down so many roads,
Like a car, she is wearing out of her mold,
And think about at an old age, all the worry she has done causing her such stress,
All she feels is mostly done and she's ready for a long rest,
And imagine all the steps she's took for her family, job and friends to name a few off hand,
It's like she was in ways like a famous touring rock band,
And oh, so many years past now that her one true love went on,
What heartache she must feel and she must be ready for God to take her home.
So, don't cry for her because her life has been well lived and long,
Now she's ready to see her loved ones that has long ago passed on.
So, at her death, celebrate all the good memories of the influence she left on you,
Don't cry no tears or feel sorrow, just laugh and celebrate all those memories and in thoughts in the future don't you never be blue.
