Has passed a test of fate,
Trudging along on tired feet,
Almost there, refusing to be beat
Heart overloaded with dark fear
Cries of panic no one can hear
Struggled to retrieve losing breath
Destiny helped to conquer the death
Gratitude to life for being alive
Fight with hope made it survive
Pandemic times come and go
Lessons taught everyone must know!
