Holding Onto Yesterday
How strong are you holding onto yesterday? The days are long and the sun stays away.
Holding on to what we couldn't hold onto. Now all I'm left with is me here without you.
Living in darkness; I can't see the light. Wishing I had stayed with you to put up the fight.
Now it seems to late for us, so I just live in the past. Holding onto the moments we thought would last.
Yesterday seems better than tomorrow without you here. If I doubted that I loved you; losing you made it clear.
