Of all the many colors of the effervescent rainbow
There one color that's my favorite to always show
It dazzles and zazzles to all who would see
And make me so Happy and fills me with Glee

It's pure and life giving for those that it touch
A cleansing light hue for rain clouds and such
Yes it's competitive and has ego by much
But hot on the dancefloor it never goes dutch

Its fire is quite hot and the flame is intense
But if you are true it will have no pretense
And newborns are its glory a boy it's its best
Use a small blanket to cover its chest

You know what my color of favor is now?
Well be the best you can be and look at that ribbon, somehow, you see what I mean

Unlike other evenings,
today,
the sleepy setting sun,
extracted the magical colors,
from the rainbow,
to paint the mesmerizing sky,
of the early night
into deep bluish purple
allowing the moon to glow
in my favourite background
and stars to glitter
like pearls upon the oceans!
