With everything that life has to offer,
There's so much to be enjoyed,
But the pleasures of sleeplessness I suffer,
Is the one I cannot avoid.
I start each day with joy,
But at night, loneliness finds me.
I wear a mask of smiles in daylight,
Yet my pillow knows the truth, soaked in tears.
Trying to fade away memories of darkness,
Yet my helpless heart struggles hard,
Not letting the memories disappear.
With everything that life has to offer,
I am fighting a battle to overcome sleepless nights.
Beginning the day with new hope,
Hoping my night will end with peaceful sleep.
