आजकल चिडियाओं का मुझे सुबह उठाना,
थम सा गया है।
मेरा सुबह-सुबह उनको दाना देना,
थम सा गया है।
सुना है, मेरा जंगल जल रहा है,
उत्तराखंड धधक रहा है।
कौन जिम्मेदार है उन जलते पेड़ों का?
कौन जिम्मेदार है मरते जन्तुओं का?
शाशन? या प्रशाशन?
या शायद हम सब!!

Uttrakhand is often referred to as "Devbhoomi" which means land of Gods. Uttrakhand is currently suffering from forest fires. It's not just this year. It happens every year. Much of it's biodiversity, flora and fauna is destroyed by wild forest fires. In 2020, 46 forest fire cases have so far been registered.
Who is responsible? Who can be the culprit other than us..! Just because of some of the fools we have, we're losing our biodiversity.
